Salary: £60,000-£70,000 plus bonus and car allowance

We are working on behalf of a well-established, global manufacturer of primary packaging solutions. With in-house manufacturing, product development, and tooling capabilities, our client supplies innovative, safety-focused packaging to businesses worldwide.
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Executive to join their commercial team. This is a field-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships and driving new business across multiple sectors.
As Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities while nurturing existing customer relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders across multiple industries
Identifying new business opportunities through market research and market analysis
Working closely with senior management to develop and implement strategic business development plans
Creating and executing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
Attending industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to represent the business
Preparing and presenting regular performance and market insight reports to senior leadership
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development or sales, with a strong emphasis on relationship management
Experience within healthcare primary packaging is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle from initial planning through to close
Strong commercial and analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently in a field-based role
